Fees & Billing
Proverbs Family Medical Practice is a mixed billing practice. We do bulk bill: Veteran Affairs Card Holders, all children under 16 with a Medicare Card and patients over 75 on a current Health Care Card.
Indicative Fees (as at June 2022)
Medicare patients can access a MBS rebate upon settlement of the invoice.
Standard Consultation (<20 minutes)

Long Consultation (20-40 minutes)

At Proverbs, we have a cancellation policy that helps us better serve our patients. On the day cancellations & all missed appointments/no shows will incur a $35 fee.
Pensioners - $10
Children - $10
Please give us a ring to let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule. We require at least 24 hrs notice. No fee will be charged if appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours.
Transfer of Records
We understand that some patients will want to have a full record transferred to a new practitioner. In this first instance, we will happily organise an encrypted email with a .xml file of your entire record which will be sent to you. This will integrate best into practices that use Best Practice™ software. NB, .xml files (or .zip files if compressed) cannot be printed.
The cost for this is $15 (incl GST) per family and will be invoiced to the head of family. This fee will be waived for pensioners. This fee is much, much less than what other practices will charge.
